Customise Icons on Desktop

If you have added icons to the Rox-desktop, but want to customise the icons to your taste,

open 

 /.icons/ROX-SVG/scalable folder

in rox-filer. Depending on what type of icon you want ie devices, apps, open that folder. 

 Right-click on the desktop icon you want to alter.

 File or Mount Point or Dir>Set Icon>Only for the fileX.

Now drag and drop the icon from the Rox folder into the box and voila the chosen icon now appears on the desktop.


  • To edit the name of the file, 
 right-click on icon>Edit Item>The text displayed under the icon is

Then OK button.
